Ragi-khuskhus modak



Recipe name-Ragi-khuskhus modak 
ingredients:
1/4 cup roasted khuskhus
1cup Khoya
1/4cup roasted ragi flour
 1/2 cup powdered sugar OR BOORA
For stuffing-1/4cup roasted desiccated coconut,2tbsps powdered sugar,1/2tsp cardamom powder(mix all the things and cook on low heat for 2 minutes)Keep aside.
Cherries and cashew nuts  to garnish.
To Decorate platter -rose petals


Method - sauté khoya till it gets even and slightly brown.
Turn off the flame. Slightly cool khoya.Add roasted ragi flour and powdered sugar OR BOORA and mix well .Divide mixture into lemon sized balls.filll 1 tsp stuffing in each ball and seal well. Coat each ball  with   roasted khuskhus twice. Garnish with Cherries and cashew nuts .Healthy –tasty Ragi-khuskhus modak  are ready. Decorate platter with rose petals.
